I’ve always thought that Beyoncé  seemed like a real-life version of Game of Thrones‘ Khaleesi. Or Khaleesi has always seemed like a fictional version of Beyoncé and I’m sure that am not alone in this. Whichever way you’d like to think of it, now the two may be closer than ever.

According to Emilia Clarke, who plays the platinum blonde “Mother of Dragons” Daenerys Targaryen, King Hova bought Queen Bey a dragon’s egg from the show. Considering dragons went extinct years ago and the three dragon eggs Daenerys received as a wedding gift from Magister Illyrio Mopatis were very likely the last ones in the world, they’re probably pretty expensive.
Clarke appears on the cover of the June/July issue of Harper’s Bazaar and revealed she once tried unsuccessfully to steal herself a dragon egg from the show’s set before adding,

“Apparently Jay Z bought one for Beyonce. I don’t know”

So it’s not 100 percent confirmed that Beyoncé now is in possession of one of the eggs, which were described by Clarke as “really, really, really expensive,” but we’d like to believe Clarke’s information is correct. Just imagine a dragon egg alongside all those trophies in the “Pretty Hurts” video.
Of course, this is all unsubstantiated but *in my friend @lolookolo ‘s high-pitched voice*( a-ma-zing) to picture anyway. Clarke doesn’t own any dragon eggs herself, she says, because as she described them earlier

“they are really, really, really expensive and they are really f–king heavy and serious works of art.”. Like Fabergé eggs? “Eggs-actly! Eggs-cellent!”

I guess she will just have to settle for the dragons that are currently on the show (although they have been misbehaving lately).
Beyoncé is a big fan of the show. As she told People in 2012, her ideal Sunday is

“spending time with my family. No work, not even a discussion about work; lunch at my favorite pizzeria; having a glass of red wine; and watching Game of Thrones.”

Clarke, who also counts Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum among her famous fans, won her life-changing role on the series in 2010.

“I was literally so over the moon to have an audition, just an audition, let alone for HBO,” the British actress, 28, says in the magazine’s June issue. “I was doing a million jobs and thinking it would never happen. Not a chance. Not. A. Chance.”

We’ve always known Beyoncé is the Queen Bey, but who’d have thought we could also call her Khaleesi Bey-Mother of Dragons, which is the only thing that was missing from her resumé, as far as we’re concerned.

ILGM has reached out for responses from Beyoncé’s reps and HBO to confirm . Till then:For Clarke’s full cover story, head to HarpersBazaar.com.

Meanwhile in other Game of Thrones-meets-hip-hop news, Snoop Dogg is a fan too. Problem is, he might think it was based on real history. He told The New York Post recently,

“I watch it for historic reasons, to try to understand what this world was based on  before I got here. I like to know how we got from there, to here, and the similarities between then and now.”

But before condemning him too harshly, there is an argument that Game of Thrones is based on England’s Wars of the Roses. Maybe that’s what he was referring to?  .A
